For me to be that love letter, I have to be filled up as much as possible with God's love for me.
It's not optional.
A couple of days ago, I was listening again to one of my Messianic Rabbi's sermons. It was after a particularly sweet worship time.
He quoted an interview between Dan Rather and Mother Teresa that caught my attention.
Who will make known to me the path of life;
Who will fill me with joy in His presence,
with eternal pleasures at His right hand.
|Psa 16:11||Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.|

G-d seems to be saying here that He will show me the way to real life if I will consistently listen to His counsel and obey Him. ["I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life" Yeshua said.] That life is not the broad way of choosing whatever I want whenever I want it. It is the narrow way of laying down my "rights" and choosing to walk with Him in obedience and humility, laying down my desires to choose what pleases Him instead.
He says, "In My presence is fullness of joy."
